AED Programs Q & A
AHA Guidelines & Municipal Mandates
The American Heart Association strongly encourages certain businesses and public access facilities to have AEDs and fully trained personnel available on-site as first responders. Additionally, many municipalities, including both NYC and NYS, and the federal government, have mandated such programs in specific business, e.g. gyms, golf courses, senior centers, airports, etc. There is also new legislation pending which would require many more businesses to have AEDs, and properly trained personnel, on site.
In the hands of first responders, AEDs have helped save many lives. The American Heart Association has integrated the use and training of AEDs into its CPR training curriculum.
We are proud to offer quality on-site AED programs managed by a qualified team of board certified emergency medical professionals. With our professionally implemented programs more lives may be saved each year.
